A moderate amount of carbs, protein, fat and fiber ALL need to be included in a healthy and balanced diet...despite all the rumours you may have heard! Keeping in mind all the tools you've learnt so far, you can't forget to enjoy your food and always make sure you feel satisfied. My Tips: 1. Avoid reaching the point when you feel like you're going to explode. Don't overeat!!! 2. Eat when you're hungry! Next time you think you're hungry, talk to yourself. Ask yourself: "Am I actually hungry? Am I just thirsty? Or Am I just simply eating because I'm bored?" 3. Drink plenty of water! Fluid keeps you hydrated and leaves your stomach feeling full. So try and have a glass of water before and with every meal. 4. Surround yourself with a great support system! An exercise motivator, your family members and friends- anyone willing to help you stay on track! 5. Eat less fat. BE CAREFUL!! Just because something says "Low Fat" or "Fat Free", doesn't actually mean it's low in calories. 6. Portion control! If you really need your sugar craving- have it! Just cut back on the size that you would normally chose! 7.BE PATIENT!!!! Weight loss takes time! Don't lose hope if you see the numbers on the scale not lowering. Just keep with the lifestyle changes and the numbers will lower slowly. I promise you'll feel satisfied just by meeting the goals of the lifestyle changes. 8. Don't forget to keep all the tips and challenges and new recipes and websites in mind that I've told you. *Deep breaths!! I promise this isn't as hard as it sounds!
